Sudden heart failure is torture. About 6½ years ago, one of my kitties passed. She was only a year and a half old, and it was literally less than 24 hours from when it came on until she passed. Our local emergency vet is filled with assholes, and I didn't get to say goodbye. It's going to haunt me until I die. I am so sorry that happened to you :( it’s horrible when it’s unexpected.
