Yeah, the biggest issue is that even if it was a holiday, that would only apply to federal workers and employees of businesses that actually close during holidays. There are tons of businesses that stay open during holidays, especially in the service industry. That's so crazy to me. In Canada, we are allowed 4 hours to go vote during the work day, whether it be federal or provincial elections. At least in my job we are, and I thought that it was mandated everywhere.
